Gear and Weapons
Use your best main weapon for continuous damage. Bring a powerful short-range weapon like a shotgun or rocket launcher. Verify you have a quantity of all three types of ammo since the fight is long and demanding.
Modules and Defenses
Max out your modules and equip defenses against poison or toxic attacks, as the Executioner often uses these types of attacks.
Weak Spots
The Executioner has several weak spots you need to hit to bring him down:
- Knees: Breaking the armor on his knees will make him stagger.
- Shoulder Pads: Use grapples to break these quickly.
- Chest and Eye Sensors: These are the hardest to break but cause a lot of damage when you do.
Team Coordination
Role Assignment: Divide your team so some members focus on attacking the knees, while others target the shoulders.
Communication: Keep talking to your teammates to sync your attacks, especially when the boss is stunned.
Combat Phases
Initial Attack: Start by hitting the weak points on the Executioner’s knees and shoulders. Try to break through his shield within the first 90 seconds.
Stagger and Damage: When you stagger him by breaking a weak spot, take this chance to do as much damage as possible to his chest and eye sensors. Alternatively, use this time to revive teammates or collect supplies if needed
Healing Phase
When the Executioner starts healing, he’ll create six lanterns. Quickly destroy these lanterns to stop him from regaining health. Use powerful weapons like shotguns and rocket launchers for this job. Also, watch out for missiles falling from the sky and dodge them to avoid getting hurt badly.
Final Phase
- Break all the lanterns.
- Attack the remaining weak spots and armor plates to keep staggering the Executioner.
- Avoid standing directly in front of him to reduce the risk of getting hit.
- Once his armor is gone, focus all your attacks to completely drain his health bar.
