Project Macondo Street Date and Platforms
Scheduled for a Q3 FY2025 release, specifically on September 17, 2025, Project Macondo will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. This new chapter in the Aliens: Fireteam Elite saga promises to bring enhanced mechanics, atmosphere, and excitement to the 3rd person co-op shooting genre.
Game Story
Project Macondo builds on the success of its predecessor, offering players an epic new story campaign. Players can team up with two AI companions or other live players to tackle the challenges ahead.
As members of “DAGGER Company,” a battalion of specialized Xenomorph hunters, players will engage in diverse gameplay scenarios, including NPC interactions, alternate paths, navigational challenges, and clue finding.
Characters and Ability Categories
- Players can choose from five unique Characters, each with a signature weapon and exclusive abilities. The characters and their abilities are as follows:
- The Swift (Callsign Artemis): Agile with throwing axes and ninja-quick melee strikes.
- The Deadly (Callsign Atlas): Berserker with a minigun, body-mounted canons, and hulking armor.
- The Silent (Callsign Nix): Cloaking assassin with precision sniping.
