Is It Too Much Annoying? Hellblade 2 has become a popular game of the month with its attractive graphics and engaging story. but one problem that can harm the experience is the black bars that appear on the screen due to certain graphical settings and aspect ratio limits.
How to Disable Black Bars or LetterBox
If you want to play the game on full screen without these black bars, Here are some steps from Steam community users that help you to resolve this issue.
Step 1. Locate the Configuration Directory
The first step is to access the game’s configuration files. These files are stored in the local application data directory on your computer. Navigate to the following path.
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Hellblade2\Saved\Config\Windows
You can quickly access this directory by copying and pasting the above path into your file explorer’s address bar.
Step 2. Open the Engine.ini File
In the configuration folder, find a file called Engine.ini. This file has settings that control the game’s graphics and performance. Open Engine.ini with a text editor. it is recommended to use Notepad.
Step 3. Modify the Configuration Settings
Remove blur, chromatic aberration, film grain, AND letterboxing, Scroll to the end of the Engine.ini
file and paste the following commands

Step 4. Save and Close the File
After pasting the commands, save the changes and close the text editor. It is important to save the file with its original name and in the same directory.
