1. Obtain the Greater Potentate’s Cookbook

First, you need to obtain the Greater Potentate’s Cookbook. This item is located at Run-Down Traveler’s Rest, which is near the Ellac Greatbridge. The cookbook is important for crafting a specific item needed.

2. Craft a Hefty Furnace Pot

Using the recipe from the Greater Potentate’s Cookbook, craft a Hefty Furnace Pot. This pot will be required for dealing with a specific enemy blocking your path to the Ruins of Unte.

3. Head to the Castle Watering Hole Site of Grace

Next, make your way to the Castle Watering Hole Site of Grace. This site is a convenient starting point for the next steps in your journey.

4. Throw the Hefty Furnace Pot Into the Furnace Golem

How To Enter Ruins of Unte in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

To access the Ruins of Unte, you’ll need to discover a secret coffin located inside the Shadow Keep. Follow these steps to find it.

1. Site of Grace ‘Main Gate Plaza’

Go to the Main Gate Plaza Site of Grace inside the Shadow Keep. This site appears after you defeat the Golden Hippopotamus.

2. Go to the Shadow Keep and find the Hidden Passage

Then go through the western side of the Shadow Keep until you reach an area with rows of flaming boats. On your left, you will see a large staircase to the Shadow Keep’s Storehouse. Skip the stairs and move to the eastern side of the area. Here, you will discover several militiamen hiding between the boats.

3. Enter the Hidden Passage

Go down the ladder near the small staircase and enter the hidden passageway behind the waterfall. Drop another ladder to find a small storeroom containing one of Shadow of the Erdtree’s paintings, titled ‘Domain of the Dragons‘.

4. Reveal the Illusory Wall and find the Ominous Stone Coffin

Roll against the illusory wall in the storeroom with the painting to reveal another hidden pathway. At the end of the passage, you will find an ominous stone coffin. Interact with it to climb inside and take a watery cruise down a waterfall.
