Meeting Count Ymir
To start Count Ymir’s questline, head to the Cathedral of Manus Metyr in Scadu Altus. This cathedral is centrally located amidst a body of water, southeast of Shadow Keep and northeast of Castle Ensis. Access the cathedral by traversing through Moorth Ruins. Look for a sunken tower in the northeast part of Moorth Ruins, leading to Bonny Village. Navigate southwest through tunnels until you reach Bonny Village.
The First Encounter
Upon entering the Cathedral of Manus Metyr, approach the imposing throne where Count Ymir awaits. He will greet you and provide essential items like the Ruins Map and Hole-Laden Necklace to kickstart your quest. Discuss with him the map and the Hallowed Ruin, where you must sound a hanging bell.
Exploring the First Ruins
Travel to the Finger Ruins of Rhia on the Cerulean Coast, accessible via the Jagged Peak or along the southern shore. At the ruins, find a structure resembling the hole-laden necklace and ring the hanging bell to obtain the Crimson Seed Talisman +1. Return to Count Ymir to report your success and receive further rewards like the Beloved Stardust Talisman.
Discovering the Second Ruins
Access Scaduview through the Church District Entrance of Shadow Keep. Use the O Mother gesture near the statue of Marika to gain entry. Head to the Finger Ruins of Dheo in the southeast of Scaduview, ring the bell and receive the Cerulean Seed Talisman +1. Return to Count Ymir for the Ruins Map (3rd).
Confronting the Final Ruins
Interact with Count Ymir’s throne to reveal a ladder leading to the Finger Ruins of Miyr. Defeat Swordhand of Night Anna and then Mityr, Mother of Fingers in the boss room. Receive the remembrance of the Mother of Fingers.
Final Showdown
Return to the Cathedral via the Site of Grace and confront Jolan. After the battle, face Count Ymir himself. Upon his defeat, he drops Ymir’s Bell Bearing, Maternal Staff, and High Priest attire. Rest at the Site of Grace and collect Cherishing Fingers Sorcery from Yuri’s grave.
