A Metallica virtual concert titled Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury. is coming to Fortnite on June 22, 2024, continuing through June 23. This two-day event will feature six different showtimes, with three showtimes scheduled for each day.

The Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury. concert lets players experience six of Metallica’s popular songs. You will actively participate in the concert with gameplay that matches the energy of each song. This creates a unique and interactive live concert environment.

How to Watch the Concert
To watch the “Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury.” concert in Fortnite, go to Fortnite’s Discover screen at any of the scheduled showtimes. You can join alone or with up to three friends. Here’s how to access it:
- Open Fortnite: Ensure you have Fortnite open at the scheduled showtime.
- Discover Screen: Navigate to the Discover screen to find the concert event.
- Join the Event: Select the “Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury.” playlist, which will appear in the Play tab created by Epic.
- Matchmaking: You can join the concert with a party of up to four players. In public matches, you’ll share the experience with up to 16 players.
- Waiting Area: Load into a waiting area designed to look like a gas station covered by a sandstorm. Once the timer finishes, the concert will begin.
Players will travel through five iconic Metallica songs, each providing a unique gameplay experience.

The concert lasts around 30 minutes, and players can join multiple showtimes if they choose.
This event celebrates the iconic band’s involvement in Fortnite’s Season 4, which kicked off on June 13. The band members, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo, are the Icons of Fortnite Season 4.
