In the game Soulmask, where you have to survive, where you put your base is super important. You need a safe spot, that has many things you need, and helps you move forward in the game. This guide tells you the best places to put your base in the early and middle parts of the game.
It talks about how dangerous each spot is, how many resources you can find there, and how close it is to important places you need to reach in the game.
Best Early to Mid Game Base Locations in Soulmask
The map in Soulmask is really big, so it can be hard for players to figure out where to build their base. To make things easier for you, we have put together a list of the best places to build your base when you’re just starting in Soulmask. Here are some locations. You can follow these:
Starter Inland Zone
This place is perfect for beginners in the game. It’s super safe because there aren’t many dangerous things around. But, you won’t find fancy things here, so if you want to progress further in the game, you’ll have to move to a different area:
- Danger Level: Safe. Not many dangerous things, just watch out for piranhas if you’re in the water.
- Resources: Basic. You can find simple things like trees, rocks, and clay here, but nothing too fancy.
- Progression: Not Much. You won’t find the important stuff you need to advance in the game here.
This place is perfect for starting, but if you want to get to the middle part of the game, you’ll need to move somewhere else. Give it a try when you’re just starting the game.
Lakeside Haven
This place by the lake is safe, so you won’t have to worry much about getting into a problem. Also, there are some really useful things nearby like clay, copper, and tin, which are great if you’re just starting:
- Danger Level: There’s only one jaguar and a few other small dangers, but nothing too risky.
- Resources: You can easily find clay, copper, tin, and even green crystals from old ruins nearby.
- Progression: It’s in a good spot to move on to harder areas later on.
It’s a great place to set up camp when you’re starting the game. Many good stuff around and not too many things that can cause problems.
Central Riverside
This place, Central Riverside, has many things you might need like metal, rocks, trees, and clay. But watch out for jaguars and alligators.
- Danger Level: Not too safe. There are jaguars and alligators around, so be careful if you’re just starting.
- Resources: You can find metal ores like iron, copper, and tin, plus plenty of rocks, trees, and clay.
- Progression: It’s not too far from important places where you can level up.
Jungle Edge
This area provides a mix of safety and resource proximity. It’s relatively safe unless you wander too far, but getting to advanced resources needs travel:
- Danger: Not too high. Just watch out for piranhas, especially if you go too far.
- Resources: good. You’re close to trees, rocks, clay, and old ruins, which is handy when you’re starting.
- Progression: You’re far from important things like special rocks, which makes gathering resources tedious.
This place is good to start safely, but you’ll probably be required to move later on to find better stuff.
