How to Fix Hades 2 Lagging Issue
Input lag creates a delay between a player pressing a button on their controller or keyboard and the corresponding action occurring on-screen.
There are various causes of this issue including Attributes and Input Types, JavaScript Event Handlers, and Server-Side Considerations.
Players on Reddit and other platforms have suggested some fixes that can help you out:
Disable G-Sync (NVIDIA)
- Right-click on your desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel.
- Go to Manage 3D settings.
- Choose Vertical sync option in the global setting tab and set it to Off.
- Apply the changes and restart the game.
Monitor Render Latency
Use NVIDIA’s performance overlay or other monitoring software to check render latency. Lower render latency (in milliseconds) for better responsiveness. Check the graphics settings for the right balance between visual quality and performance.
Turning V-Sync off
Try disabling V-Sync in the options. This can help improve your system’s performance. To find the best setting for your needs, you should test both options – with and without V-Sync – and compare the results. This will help you determine what works best for your system.
Optimize Compatibility Settings
- Right-click on the Hades.exe file and select “Create Shortcut.“
- Right-click on the shortcut and choose “Properties.”
- Go to the “Compatibility” tab.
- Check “Override high DPI scaling behavior,” “Disable fullscreen optimizations,” and “Run this program as an administrator.“
- Apply the changes and launch the game using this shortcut.
